Description

Already trusted by some of the world's best riders, the Fox Launch D30 Elbow Guards have been fully redesigned with D30 protective inserts to increase the level of protection and make them even more comfortable to wear than the previous generation pads. These are the youth sized model that come in a package so suit wee little arms.

Who's this item for: The Launch D30 Youth Elbow Guard is for younger gravity riders (or their parents) that require a high level of protection from their pads. They would be considered to be a DH quality pad that is best worn when doing lifted runs on a shuttle or chairlift.

Protection Style: These are a soft pad with D30 protective inserts.

Materials: D30 padded inserts handle protection duties while the main bulk of the pads are made from perforated neoprene.

Closure or Slip-on: They are a slip-on pad with a top hook and loop adjuster to fine-tune the fit.

Length of elbow pad: A precise measurement isn't provided but the top of the guard comes up to the bicep and the pad should cover the elbow and most of the forearm.

Protection level: These are CE Certified as providing EN1621-1 Level 1 Elbow Protection.

Removable protective inserts for washing: No the inserts on these pads are not removable for washing.

Pros: Heavy-duty protection for hard-hitting gravity riding. Pre-curved fit for comfort.

Cons: They are a bit too heavy-duty to be used for trail riding (unless you crash a lot). Best kept to the bike park and DH tracks.
