The latest iteration of the popular GR9's, the GR903 is Shimano's flagship downhill and Enduro flat pedal shoe with gravity optimised Ultread GR rubber compound and a pattern designed to deliver outstanding grip and walkability.

With a casual skater style with standard laces, the shoes feature an asymmetrically raised padded ankle collar and a robust toe cap for added protection.

The durable rubber outsole has water drainage channels and the synthetic leather and mesh upper absorbs less water and dries quickly

Who's it For: Enduro, DH and All-Mountain riders looking for a grippy and comfortable pair of flat pedal shoes

Pedal Interface: Flat pedal.

Closure: Classic lace-up.

Upper Materials: The upper is made from synthetic leather and mesh. These materials breathe well and absorb less water. This means better comfort for you and less stinky shoes.

Sole Materials: Ultread rubber and EVA with a shank plate.

Sole Type: The Ultread GR rubber sole has a sticky rubber compound and a tread pattern designed to deliver outstanding grip on the pedals while still being great to walk in.

Weight: 396g for a size 42.

Sizing Guide: Shimano fit pretty true to US sizes.

Last/Width type: The Volume Tour Last provides an extra 10% volume in the toe box and an extra 8% across the ball of the foot to provide a 2E width.

    solid but won't last

Feels great, the fit, the roominess, the hold around your heel, the stiffness of the sole, all feel great. But I'm getting individual chunks of tread torn off after 30hrs of push runs, i.e. maybe only 5-10 hrs of descending

    GRIP TO DIE FOR.

The shimano GR903 has the most grip I have experienced. This is the third brand pair of shoes I have tried in the last year and in my opinion they have tremendous grip.

As for durability they are still new so I can't comment yet.
