Specifically designed for 1x setups. The Southpaw mounts underneath the left handlebar so you can safely actuate your dropper post without sacrificing your grip.
Compatibility: Intended for use with KS dropper posts, the Southpaw is a front-feed design, so the barrel end of the cable is at the lever and the cable is clamped at the dropper.
Previous models were available in a 22.2mm split clamp bar mount only, but options will be available for Shimano I-Spec II, I-Spec EV, and SRAM Matchmaker X options.
Materials: Alloy lever body, stainless steel hardware.
Tension adjuster: Yes, there is a barrel adjuster on the remote to adjust the cable tension.
What's in the box: Remote only. KS posts come with inner cable and housing included so they don't include these with the remotes.

Easy to install especially after having hydraulic dropper previously. Much neater than using old gear lever (if that's what you were doing).

A great compliment to the LEV and much better than the standard remote. Fits 1x setup beautifully.

Amazing option. KS should make this a standard leaver, it's just like shifting.

Bought the composite one.Not worth the hassle at all. Plastic does not hold the nut, once it's stripped it's done, can't even loosen it now to take it off. Lesson learned, never buy composite parts.
Shipping and service was good, just wish I spent the extra to get something useable

This lever does make the operation of the dropper post better. It was a bit costly but now I use my seat post alot more, so you could say I get better value for money out of the ks post I brought. also when fitting it I used a standard gear cable and it works just fine
