Description

The Stash Chain Tool from Granite Designs is an ingenious design which lets you store a chain tool directly in your handlebar. No more carrying around bulky multi tools for the sake of a chain breaker, it even has storage for a quick link (not included).

Who's this item for: Riders after some seriously sneaky tech to carry a chain tool.

Chain compatibility: Compatible with 9-12 speed chains.

Materials: CNC machined out of 7075 alloy, it is lightweight and strong.

Dimensions and Weight: 30x30x96mm with the large cap (used for open end grips). 21.8x21.8 x96mm with the small cap (used for single lock on grips). It weighs only 50gms.

Whats in the box:
  • 1 x Stash Chain Tool (includes tool body, steel pin, rivet driving screw).
  • Expansion Rubber.
  • 30mm Side Cap.
  • 22mm Side Cap.
Pros: Fits in your handle bar, works on 9-12 speed chains.

Cons: May have to remove your grip to get access to it.

    You think you don't need it, until you do.

    Another great bit of kit from Granite Designs. Well made.

    It can get you out of a sticky situation. Also holds a spare quick link.

    Compact, and good for 12 speed!

    Got this after a damaged chain out riding. It stores nice and compact - already had a workshop chain breaker, but it's too bulky to take riding. Won't need it now I've got one!

    Great Addition To All Bikes, Highly Recommend, Great Tool

    Bought this tool to go along with it's matching tubeless repair kit. Feels amazing in the hand, very ergonomic and the quick-link storage is so well thought out. Fits in handlebar well however if not tightened it may wiggle a little loose and begin to rattle. Apart from that great tool, highly recommend .

    Waste of money

    I bought this about a year ago. So far, the quick link o-ring has snapped, the chain holder tab thingo has bent out of place and the pin on the end of the pin driver bolt has snapped, making it unusable . The handle often rattles loose and bounces around inside my handle bars. This thing is not durable or reliable what so ever. Don't waste your money
