The Alpinestars Drop 2 Short Sleeve Jersey is designed for long days and hard riding. Mesh inserts on the chest and back provide enhanced ventilation, the elongated lower back profile helps maintain fit, and the advanced poly-fabric works to promote moisture wicking and temperature control.

I chose this jersey because it's one of the few short sleeved jerseys I could find with pockets. The jersey is comfortable and well-fitting; the pockets are secure but just a bit wide (so stuff bounces around), but certainly functional

Needed a short sleeve shirt for summer riding and this was on special for a very good price.
It fits well, the materials are thin, but not too thin. I got a fox summer jersey last year that was made like a tea bag. It was so thin you could see my 47 year old nipples through it and nobody needs to see that so I sent it back. The Alpinestars shirt is thin especially under where your backpack straps sit, but not that thin you can see through it. It also matches the colours of my bike to some extent.
